There are 5 books in the series! NOT 4, this is not a full set, so annoyed that I have to buy the 5th book that does not fit in the box. The books themselves are amazing and very well written.
Love the story and books themselves but would recommend if you are thinking between getting the paperbacks and the hardcovers to go w the hardcovers instead!! The fact that the books are small in size and kinda chunky makes it kinda painful to keep the book open without using both your hands… might seem silly but because the books are big your hands will get tired of keeping the book open for long periods of time.
Love this series! I’m so glad I bought the box set so I could have it all at once instead of having to buy one book at a time. The first 30 pages of the first book were lots of build up but then the story EXPLODES and sucks you right in.

I used to love reading when I was younger but fell out of it when I got busier with life. I have tried and failed many times to read for fun since but every time failed. This series was recommended highly by a friend and I decided to try it on a whim, trying to bring back that love I used to have for all things fiction. WOW. I did not expect to love this so much, but truly it has become my favorite. The characters, world-building, and storytelling are gorgeous and throw you right into the world and the journey of the main character. Truly one of the best series I have read, and it has reignited my love for books when I thought nothing could.
Not a day goes by that I don’t think about these books. Desperately waiting for the next release because I’m obsessed. I really hope Sarah releases another Feysand book!!
I feel this series is appropriate for people who are sixteen and older. The first book started out interesting and then I found myself a little bored for some of the middle, but it needed to be that way, because things weren’t as they seemed, and I’m glad I kept reading, because it gets good. The last half of the first book makes it all worth it. The 2nd book is even better than the first, because now the story is really going. The third book is also great, but I think it should have wrapped some things up a little better in the end and the sex scenes in the third book didn’t add to the story the way it did with the first two books, where it was used better. The fourth book is totally unneeded. It’s a short story about how the characters feel after everything that’s happened in the first three books and I felt my time was wasted. I honestly just skimmed through it. There are going to be more books that will continue the story, but mostly through the eyes of Feyre’s two sisters and with them as the main character in their book. I don’t like that. I like series best when they stick to a main character like with the Kate Daniels series, the Harry Potter series, the first ten books of the Sookie Stackhouse series, and the first twelve books of the Anita Blake series. So basically, this is a trilogy that you can continue with and the books in this trilogy are good and worth buying. I found the first three books entertaining and well written. I recommend them. Don’t give up on the first book when it gets kind of dull for some of the middle, it’s worth reading through. I recommend this series, but just those first three books.
The story is bland and one dimensional. It just felt like the author wrote the sex scenes then based a plot around it. Nothing but lazy writing that changes out of nowhere trying to be deep. The best way to sum up the so called faeries is that they took some humans slapped wings on them (and big dicks for the males) then pulled some magic out of a hat to make them ‘unique’.
Purchased these for my wife as she’s into fantasy / Sci fi. If you want quiet time from your wife definitely purchase lol
This series…..where do I even start, it makes you laugh, makes you cry , its a rollercoaster of emotions but you enjoy every bit of it and once you finish one book you yearn for more.This is a series I will never forget and am waiting for the second part of it to come out eagerly.I recommend this book to everyone and its something you simply must read.Im going to be starting TOG next!!!!
What in the heck is there not to like?!Obsessed doesn’t even cut it. I was pretty much held hostage by these books and I loved every single second of it.
The actual books are some of my favourites I’ve ever ever read. They were brilliant.However, the third book in the series arrived damaged & the cover not properly stuck down, so it was all wrinkly and odd. Which is more disappointing because I enjoyed the books so much, I want to display them.
NO SPOILERS!!So after reading many,many,many reviews on this series and watching a ton of TikTok’s I decided to take a chance and dive into this series or I was shoved is a more accurate description, and wow and I glad I was!!I may have only read the first 2 books in the series but in all honesty it was after the first half of A court of thorns and roses that I knew I was gonna be sticking with this series the long run!!The author really builds a world and and every character within it, the diversity amount them is great and no two characters are the same. The fans weren’t wrong when they said you will want to scream at the books, rant, cry and get angry along side the characters.I have fully been thrown down the rabbit hole and am thoroughly enjoying the crazy ride………… now on to A court of wings and ruin.Enjoy!!
