The description said minor writing but this book has ALL the exams written. What a waste and moreover, why sell it just to be a pain to someone else. It’s my own dumb fault and now I have to order a new book and throw this crap away. Please do everyone a favor and throw the test prep books in the trash if you write all over it.
As expected. This is 10 official tests, back to back. There are no answer explanations, only an answer key, but that was expected based on the product description. Does its job. I think the absolute best way to prep for the test is simply by taking older tests. This is not an information based test, it is a test of skills – and the only way to improve a skill is through practice! I scored a 154 my first time taking the LSAT, and I am currently studying for the next one where I will hopefully do better. Still plugging away at these older tests.
Item exactly as advertised. Taking actual practice exams (under simulated testing conditions!) is an integral part of doing well on the LSAT.Tip: Since the actual exam has 5 multiple choice sections (4 graded, 1 ungraded) but these released practice tests only contain the 4 graded sections, use the sections of one or two of the tests to simulate the extra ungraded section. While this means you will only be able to take 8 full-length practice tests under simulated conditions, it’s very important to be prepared for what the test day is actually like. Plus, you will still be “taking” those two other tests, just not all at once.
Need I say anything else? Every single question had the answers circled in pen. This book is virtually useless and the fact that it wasn’t noticed before resale is shocking.
This book is great! Let me explain the use of this book. This book is for AFTER studying very well. It’s just a simulation of what the real test is. THE SCORES ARE ACCURATE! I did 2-3 practice tests and got 134 each time. I got 135 on the real test. I’m planning to retake the test. Barrons is a good way to prepare for the test and this book will SIMULATE taking the actual test. The test is going digital so, I am not sure if it will be the same. I would still use this book.
I would highly recommend taking as many practice tests with review as possible before taking the actual test. I used this practice set as a sub for real practice tests because it has some of the most recent exams. Test under timed conditions. Review (without looking at answers) untimed. Review looking at answers and explanations. Repeat.
The book is a standard LSAC book and I’ve been happy with all four I have purchased. However, the Games section in this book is far too easy. For people who struggle with the games section and want to ease in, I highly recommend this book. But if you’re only going to buy one book, obviously you should buy the most recent one.In summation: fine book but the Games are too easy.
Fantastic set of tests. They come with the tests, answer key, scoring key, and test answering sheets in the back. I would highly recommend this book if you are looking to take the LSAT since these tests are very recent. That means if you are on a tight budget you should always try to get the test books that contain the most recent tests. Overall a great product that can help you succeed on the LSAT!
You need to approach the entire LSAT with the right mentality. The LSAT is going to beat you up mentally and emotionally and going through test after test without having a very good grasp of required techniques/concepts will do you no good. Once you have worked your way through LSAT prep books (e.g. Kaplan and PowerScore) then start with OLDER exams and go through them UNTIMED. Make sure to understand not only what you have done wrong but also whether your line of thinking was correct for the questions that you got right. Once you have gone through the first 30-50 LSAT test in this manner, then it’s time to use book such as this one. SAVE THE RECENT TESTS for the last month or two of your prep! Don’t use these for your studies or you or going to lose precious LSAT material. I used this to simulate the LSAT test environment and test my knowledge closer to the test date and it was quite helpful.Hope this helps!
The best preparation set for those who want to crack lsat or lsat India! A lil expensive but the knowledge it gives is way more precious that any amount! Best with the lsat trainer by mike kim!
This book includes 10 past LSAT tests. It is very handy to study past tests as well as the answers that they are looking for. I have written the LSAT once and will most likely study this (among other) source before taking the test again.
Came quickly which was a life saver as i ran out of tests a week before my LSATs. The tests were relevant to the ones i wrote in the fall of 2015. A must for anyone studying for the LSATs.
Well done. Not much else to say – I appreciated how multiple tests over the years were put together in one book!
