I took a $1000 course (offered free from my undergrad) from the Princeton Review and I burned through it in a month. That gave me a BASE – but it was NOT substantial. Its for rookies and something that would get me a 155 on the LSAT. I knew I still had a long way to go and I was stressing the f*** out.This book brought me from being frustrated to being confident in a matter of a month.I was cautiously sketpical and they changed my stress into excitement. Thank you Jon, Dave, and the rest of the team. You guys changed the outcome of my future.PowerScore is simply the best. Their website has every single explanation for every single past question. You can setup a username real quick and instantly be chatting with them about something you don’t understand – for free. It is BY FAR the best choice. Princeton Review was “corporate”, these guys are personable, professional, and ***this is crazy*** they actually care.ALSO – I came to the rude awakening that you need to study for at least 3 months if you plan on getting a decent score. After reading the PowerScore Logic Games Bible, I improved from a -4 to a perfect 0 between the June and November 2018 LSAT exams. Overall, I improved from a 163 to a 168 which enabled me to receive a full merit scholarship at my target school.What I loved about the Logic Games Bible is the granularity and meticulousness of PowerScore’s approach – breaking down lessons into smaller sub-lessons that are then each able to be digested and applied on the real test. The book is especially good at categorizing the distinct types and approaches for each game, so that when you face similar games on the real test, you will have a solid methodology for attacking it. The book is incredibly comprehensive (and heavy), including everything from frameworks for making inferences such as looking for numerical distributions to limit boards to a shorthand notation language of abstract symbols for capturing the greatest number of possibilities or templates. There are even unique game types that you can draw upon on test day.In addition to doing the problems in the book, purchase LSAC’s practice tests and take diagnostics. Then refer to the PowerScore online forums for answer explanations.Good Luck!!!!!
If you can only buy one book to prepare, this should be it. Without this book I’d still be looking at logic games blankly and being completely unable to comprehend them. Now, I can actually finish many with confidence and am still working! This book gives great techniques to use and lots of practice. I do think it’s best to learn the techniques here and get more practice using prep tests or other books if possible, but this book is a lifesaver
I did not receive the logic games bible, 2017 edition. Instead I received a 2014 logic reasoning bible in very poor condition. I ordered a brand new 2017 logic games bible and instead I receive a book with writing/highlighting and bend pages. For the price I spent, one would expect to receive the correct item!
FOR ALL TESTAKERS: The title of the book shows 2018th edition, image shows 2019th edition and sellers are selling products to whatever edition they feel like without disclosing what edition is going to be sent. Basically, picking a random number out of a hat including payment. I had this mistake occur twice and had to talk to amazon twice about the inconvenience and how they are allowing this to continue. Truly unsatisfying when you need the 2019 LSAT edition ASAP for taking the test this year. Please find picture for evidence. There is no need or purpose to hold a 2013 edition.
If you’re going to purchase a book on logic games for the LSAT, this is the one to purchase. It’s much easier to understand than Manhattan and has better strategies. You’ll get a good foundation of the basics of logic games. However, I’ve found whenI took the actual LSAT, the games are much more advanced. So my best suggestion is to devour the information in this book as best as you can, then take a practice exam using actual LSAT exams (Preptests), then practice, practice, practice some more. Do not rely solely on this book to help you pass the logic games section. You will do yourself a disservice if you use this book as a stand alone, without continuous practice using actual LSAT exams. You can purchase 10 New Actual, Official LSAT PrepTests exams on Amazon. Try to take a minimum of 20 preptests before your actual exam date.
The Powerscore series – it is the best way to go, these guys got it right and know what they are doing. This book is informative and very helpful and I am using all three as a trilogy. Reading, Logic, and Games… Prior to buy these books I paid an independent teacher offering an in person course, with online videos and materials for around a grand offering mainly teaching and not much reading materials. These books are much better!! It is independent study but I learn better reading books, combined books with teaching it enhances learning so it could work out for you to get the course taught by Powerscore as wellI do not have the Training Collection or the Workbooks which could prove useful or could be a waste of money? I do however have all the past test previously administer from LSAC which you should buy first along with the trilogy before buying the subsequent training materials from Powerscore. But all three of these books are easy to follow and read. I have not started taking simulated practice tests yet because I am not to take point in my training schedule so I am not sure what range of point increase I will be in, I will update this with my increase in a few months.
Apart from the odd typo, the book is a fantastic resource to help you crush the LSAT. It uses clear analysis and diagramming techniques to make the logic games section of the test simple and efficient. Would definitely recommend to anyone preparing for the LSAT.

Do not buy, this is false advertising. It is the 2019 version NOT THE 2020 version as shown in the photo. Thoroughly disappointed. This has wasted so much of my valuable LSAT studying time.
This book is pure gold. Yes, it’s big. Yes, it’s expensive. But it is worth it. Clear, concise and practical language. All the detail you need to understand while not getting boringly bogged down. You will have breakthroughs in the first 30 pages, things no one else told me in months of prep. Updated for the digital edition which is a big plus. One area of criticism, is that this book uses some proprietary terms for concepts which may not be the terms used in the official test prep and other prep courses/ books. That being said, these terms are helpful. Logic Games make or break the LSAT score needed to get into your best law school, since LG/AR is (typically) the section most unfamiliar to prospective law students. Thus, this book is well worth the investment.
