  • Years ago I read Becca Chopra “Chakra Secrets” but along the way lost the copy. I found it very educational and insightful and was almost about to buy it again when I thought, “Why not buy a new book with new information in it?” Well, folks, there is NO NEW INFORMATION in this book. In fact, all of the information in this book could be found for free online. It’s as if the author simply copy and pasted from different chakra websites.Since Becca Chopra offered lots of hints and tips that can’t easily be found online, I was expecting the same from this book. Wrong! For example, Becca Chopra reveals why different yoga poses could help different chakras. The author of “Chakra Healing” simply gives a list of some extremely basic yoga poses even the very novice yogi would have already known and so intelligently explains, “yOgA iS gReAt FoR cHaKrAs,” with hardly any further detail. This book was a total rip off, with only the very most basic information in it anyone could find anywhere for free, but it’s not worth the trouble to return during the time of Covid-19.
  • An amazing book to use for introductory purposes into Chakras and chakra healing. I almost got another book by a somewhat legend in this field but I searched the other book first only for reviews but came up with a free pdf download to which I read and was absolutely bored to death reading. Unlike the other book this book isn’t long winded and gets straight to the point. I haven’t finished reading but the book is so informative and so fun to read unlike the other book that I had to do a quick review to hopefully sway other’s to read this book instead.
  • When I first got this book, I knew nothing about chakras and I was very excited to learn and expand my spiritual practice. However, after doing my own research outside of this book and talking to multiple spiritual/witchy people, I came to find out that chakras are part of a CLOSED PRACTICE and that the teachings of chakras often found in books like this one preach a watered-down, Westernized version of what chakras actually are. The majority of people who write these books don’t practice any of the religions real chakras are used in (Buddhism, Hinduism). PLEASE do not buy books that are not written by those practicing the religions that use chakras, it is culturally appropriative and insulting to Eastern spirituality/religion/culture. That being said, if you are still looking to incorporate energy centers into your practice, I would opt for books that explicitly use the scientific terms for these centers/energy centers/energy points to explain. These books are often more in-depth and give you some science behind energy centers anyway.
  • Great book for just $10. It has everything for chakra healing yoga crystals essential oils and more. I can’t wait to really learn more about my inner chakra. And meditation. In the book is not actually boring. It keeps you interested. I also love how there are photos. And examples
  • I’m really enjoying this book! It’s pretty informative about the Chakras. It goes in depth of the possible symptoms of a blockage. It educates on the essential oils and or crystals that help heal or balance a specific chakra. This book also has yoga poses and information about specific crystals. It educates you on meditation and shows you how to do it. If you are having trouble with meditation there are great guided meditation videos on YouTube. Eventually you should be able to do it on your own.The only issue I have is the section about sacred healing spaces. It tells you to use white sage or Palo Santo to clear your space. Please do not use either! These are strictly for Native American people! These plants/herbs are sacred to their practices! Both of these are running low on availability and using these are cultural appropriation. Plus using sage will clear out all energy including the positive! And that will leave your space vulnerable for negative energy or even negative entities to enter. Also some people are not harvesting them in proper ways and even selling fake versions. So who knows what you are really getting. Instead of using sage or Palo Santo use juniper. It clears out the negative energy and creates a safe, protective, positive, and healing space. Juniper is energetically and physically detoxifying and will help you center yourself.
  • In the interest of full disclosure, I will start right off by saying I’m not only a fan of this book and Margarita, but I’m also a patient who has benefited from sessions with her immensely. She is a very dedicated and passionate healer, who’s amazing at what she does. She is always learning and expanding upon her skills and it certainly pays off!If anyone is familiar with Margarita’s writing on her blog (Alcantara Acupuncture and Healing Arts) or any of the articles she’s written for Mind Body Green or The Huffington Post on Integrative Healing, then most would already know what a warm and accessible writer she is. The same is true here. She breaks everything down about the chakras in terms that are easy to understand and remember.I’m familiar with the chakra system, but I really learned a lot of useful information here. The book is a quick and engaging read for anyone. It’s divided into four chapters: the first explains what a chakra is and what each chakra governs, the second covers how to work with each of the chakras through meditation, crystals and essential oils, the third breaks down what issues or ailments may be related to which chakra and the fourth explains how the symptoms can be healed by balancing the chakras associated with it.There’s also a handy section showing different yoga poses that can help further balance the chakras and a beautiful color section with pictures of the crystals mentioned through out the book. All in all, a very fun read for those who are already knowledgeable and a great primer for anyone who is curious about healing through the chakras.
  • This book was well researched but very basic. I would recommend it for anyone who is just beginning to learn about the chakras and chakra healing.
  • CANADIAN WOMEN: I had dysphagia for which more than 10 MD were unable to diagnose the cause (which may be gastrointestinal, neurological, etc.), and no treatment was prescribed. I have been suffering for 3 years (I couldn’t drink or eat anything – just Ensure). I lost 40 pounds in 6 months and I thought I was going to die. I used this book and worked on my chakras according to the book’s instructions – every day, about 30 minutes a day, and started eating and drinking again, with a few limitations and I am alive and functional. Thank you, dear author, good book !!!
  • This is really good, informative book.I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in chackra healing. But it if you buy it please bear in mind palo santo is on the list of endangered plants, there are other plants you can use instead.
  • This book is everything and more! there’s so many books to choose from on amazon about chakras and i was drawn to this book. It is what a beginner needs, thankyou
  • Very simple book. Fine for a basic introduction. My main issue with it is that I absolutely do not feel like it is worth £12.99.
  • Explains everything well. Very easy to follow. Good guide on stones for beginners.
