This is my personal experience with this product. I don’t know if I just got a faulty book or what. I don’t have any issue with the information inside. Super helpful and a must have for any pipefitters/pipeline welders. For some reason my books stitching was terrible. I had pages falling out left and right, I had two pages that were stuck together. Not even stuck together it looked like it was folded in half and then stitched into the book itself. I had to tear the edges of the page in order to free the two pieces from each other. After a few months of using it I’ve had to scrap it. Which is extremely odd because all of my pipefitter friends have had theirs for multiple years and haven’t had any problems.
If you’re looking for this you already know all you need. Get the damn book
As a weld supervisor, this book is a necessity to any pipe fitter or welder to have. It is a great reference for take outs on fittings, flange sizes, bolt patterns, cope layouts for similar and dissimilar size pipe, and so much more. You want to buy this.
Need to refresh up on your basics of pipe fitting? This is the book for you. It’s hard to remember all the specific equations to use if you don’t use them all the time. This small book fit on your pocket and easy to pull out on site to relook something up.
My husband had 1 years ago that was larger. This is a smaller compact version that he keeps in his truck or box. If has soooo many helpful geometry cheats!! If you are in the pipeline/tank industry this book is a must!!!
Purchased book, as suggested, through “Amazon Warehouse , Fulfilled by Amazon”. It is the real deal, high quality, promptly shipped. Good book. Would rank it up there with The Pipe Fitter’s and Pipe Welder’s Handbook by Thomas W. Frankland, another pocket sized gem.
I would rate this zero stars if I could. The product was damaged with all the pages coming out of the binder. Totally unusuable!
This book is packed full of stuff you need to know for cuts and equations for figuring out pipe hood to have with you on the job I would recommend getting two though cause if your hard on stuff like I am having two will save frustration
Brilliant book I couldn’t be without it at work it gives me every layout I need on all different sizes of pipework. Before I found this book I was having to draw each layout by hand and then produce a template now I draw them straight onto the pipework.Also look at YouTube for how to use some of the tables, great for reference.
