  • When I went into the recruiter’s office and took the practice test, it was predicted that I would score an 88 on the ASVAB; I bought this book and read it cover to cover, took the official ASVAB at MEPS, and scored a 98. I also have two master’s degrees, but I can testify that this book was an excellent study guide.

  • I confess that I eventually decided to take a chance on purchasing this Asvab Prep Plus 2022-2023 Kaplan Test Prep book after hearing about the kaplan book via the youtube page of Joseph Perez after noticing the self confidence he projected with how he did on the asvab and utilizing the book. Some of the features of the book include: the different categories that are to be featured on the asvab and some sample questions and answers (for instance mechanical comprehension, electronics, general science, shop information, automative information, word knowledge, a section for asvab practice tests in the book etc). With the purchase of the book you also get the website where you can create a login to take some practice tests which also fortunately provide explanations on the why of the correct answers after you take the three practice tests. With humble intent, I confess that I have kept a receptive mind to external sources for studying the asvab because I fortunately passed the asvab on my first try multiple years ago even without studying however the competitive and ambitious side of me is determined to do even better than I did years multiple ago even when I fortunately passed on my first try hence why I am utilizing this book and other resources to increase my chances of manifesting that goal (however I must refrain from promising a certain timeframe when I would give an update on my status in succeeding in that goal because I intend to eventually provide an update it is just that life has humbled me with the reminder to be openminded about certain things happening in the timeframe I prefer which influences me on why I prefer to be mum on the exact timeframe I give the update).
