  • If your mom is anything like my mom, then she will love this book as a gift! Let me give you some perspective: she is very hard to shop for (and insists that she isn’t), hard to please, loves to have something to talk about, likes to talk about herself and her day-to-day experiences, and will be quick to tell you, via facial expressions, whether or not she likes your gift to her.With this book, she will be able to relive some moments and memories she forgot about. The questions are worded nicely. There’s plenty of writing/ response space and the binding holds up nicely.I’d say that this book is a great buy for a mom who is at least 40 years old, doesn’t really talk about her past unless you ask, and doesn’t mind reading and writing a little.Makes for a great gift x 2! Think about it, you give it to your mom and she takes however long to finish it, then gives it back to you for a keepsake. How cool is that?
  • Although, it had some questions that I thought would be beneficial to add to a life story of my parents and grandparents, I was highly disappointed that they felt the exact same questions would be of interest to all the different roles of people in your life. The questions are all basically the a version of the ones you find on the internet for free and none of them are personalized to the theme of the book. I guess we will use it as a guide as we go through the list. Also, be prepared to download additional questions off the website, by entering an email address that you can get additional promotional and spam from. I really wish it would be worth the cost to return these, however, I will just be donating them to the library.
  • I purchased the grandma and grandpa books for my in-laws and parents. I also purchased this mom book. I’m loving telling stories to my kids and we Segway into different stories as the conversation continues. These are great books to really create engagement.
