  • Poor quality production. Off color. Save yourself a disappointment.
  • I thought all the photographs were of extremely poor quality. I expected so much more. I returned the book.
  • Scant information. The magazine is far better than this compilation.
  • Beautiful book, but it arrived with some binding damage (not sure if this occurred during production or during delivery). Also, I’m now seeing that the front cover is starting to bow outward. May return it for a replacement.
  • Very stylish and beautiful to look at while on my coffee table but way too expensive and the actual houses featured are outdated. You’ll be happy if you want to look at pics of houses decor through the last years but it wońt be much inspiration for contemporary houses. Another negative is that the cover gets easily dirty when touched. I only flipped through this pages once but I can already see handprints. Make sure you measure the book and see if the size works for your coffee table and that you are ok with the content
  • The photography is phenomenal. The pictures fill the entire page and each one has a description with a brief history and story behind the inspiration for the homeowner or designer. There is every style of architecture and interior design possible in this book. It is so stimulating. Came in great packaging with no damage. This book is heavy! Super substantial and the most perfect coffee table book with its neutral cover
  • Book arrived intact, however, did not have the usual wrap that new books have. I noticed the corner a little bent, and the book itself is a little warped. I am not one to return things, so I will keep, but based on other reviews, I think the binding process on this book is second rate.
  • Although I still keep years (make that “decades”) of select AD publications, it is an absolute joy to see its best architectural photos compiled in one very generously-sized book and, as one would fully expect of AD, the quality of the photography has lost absolutely nothing in this re-print.
  • This is a book of photos of over-styled over-indulgent interiors. There’s no architecture in here and little by way of explanation. Mostly single image of each project and the emphasis is on visuals. Despite the books proportions its contents are shallow with little depth. If you’re interested in architecture give this one a miss.
  • Lovely book, imagery is beautiful – book is so heavy to! I plan to read this soon and once read ensure its displayed in my home for all others to read.
